• 2014 TRX400X: Pro Honda GN4 4-stroke oil SAE 10W-30 — oil change 1.8 US qt (1.7 L), with filter 1.8 US qt (1.7 L), rebuild 2.3 US qt (2.2 L).
• 2013 TRX400X: Pro Honda GN4 4-stroke oil SAE 10W-30 — oil change 1.8 US qt (1.7 L), with filter 1.8 US qt (1.7 L), rebuild 2.3 US qt (2.2 L). Drive chain lubricant: Pro Honda HP Chain Lube or an equivalent chain lubricant designed specifically for use on O-ring chains..
